Sa Pobla Jazz Collective is a Big Band formed largely of musicians from Mallorca, created with the objective of giving voice to talented young local people. The project works through impelling original composition which emerges as the fruit of working together, combining jazz harmonies with an eye to the past. In this way they revive everything from the great jazz standards to traditional melodies known to our forebears.
