LUCÍA REY QUARTET – “NÓMADAS”
The pianist Lucía Rey presents Nómadas, a musical voyage through present-day jazz, Mediterranean folklore and modern harmonic textures. Her compositions are rich in sensibility while the quartet as a whole convincingly combines tradition and modernity. An emerging and increasingly eminent part of Spanish jazz today.
JAZZ AND CINEMA – KÖLN 75
Screening of Köln 75, a film inspired by the legendary concert given by Keith Jarrett in Cologne, Germany. The film recreates the passion and also problems involved in making possible one of jazz´s seminal recordings. A celebration of the power of improvisation and musical creativity, this is cinema and jazz combining in a memorable experience.
SA POBLA LINDY JAZZ CONNECTION
The Festival Jazz de sa Pobla also does dance! An encounter with swing, lindy hop, workshops and community dance, sharing festive energy and the participation which jazz is all about.
GLOJAZZADA
GloJazzada brings glosa to jazz in a necessarily improvisational experience where music and verse – this is not rap or slam poetry – share a live dialogue. BLAU SALVATGE
An international octet who bring together jazz, classical and traditional musical strands in a modern and multicultural way. Their new disc Hiraeth is a meditation on identity, diaspora and a converse feeling of belonging. They create sonic landscapes shot through with both vibrancy and nuance. This is a new, fresh voice in contemporary jazz.
JAZZDARA | GORAN LEVI QUARTET
Goran Levi presents The Chariot, a project exploring contemporary jazz languages. The quartet mixes bop, chamber music and current sounds with contrast and texture. Modern, open to change and constant evolution.

CHINA MOSES
China Moses fuses jazz, soul and current influences compellingly and with elegance. Depth of vocals and a huge capacity for narrative inform an emotive connection with her audience. Her new album It’s Complicated is testament to her present artistic standing and sheer versatility.
TRIBUTE TO FERRAN PEREYRA
A tribute to journalist and music critic Ferran Pereyra for his long involvement with the festival; the Festival Mallorca Jazz sa Pobla 2026 has awarded him its honorary prize. The ceremony will include a small celebratory concert. A recognition of his contribution in spreading the word of jazz to us all.
